Baby Boo

Baby Boo was looking to create a Christening Capsule Collection with a modern twist for new borns to young toddlers.

Although an established brand, they came to the agency (MGC) and sought guidance from Daphne in navigating the design process, as this marked their first venture into creating a collection from scratch.

Emphasizing the importance of offering safe and environmentally friendly products for babies and kids, Daphne embarked on a process of sourcing the right fabrics and trims. She ensured the use of appropriate finishing treatments and dyes, and subjected the samples to multiple rounds of lab testing to ensure safety and compliance with European Union regulations for baby clothing.

Collaboration with a GOTS certified manufacturer further reinforced the brand's commitment to sustainability.

In the light of sustainability, the master piece of the collection is a 3-in-1 style that can be dressed up as a maxi christening dress

for the ceremony and dressed down as a puffy romper or a short dress for after the ceremony. This also means that

both romper and dress can be re-worn easily on a more casual day. To preserve the quality of the products and facilitate their storage, a special garment cover bag was created. This thoughtful addition underscores the brand's dedication to sustainability

by enabling the items to be passed on, promoting a culture of reuse and minimizing waste.
