Bonjour! I'm Daphne, a 'crazy' cat lady, all things retro enthusiast and a serial upcycler. But above all, I'm just like you – ambitious with a bit of quirkiness, and determined to shake things up in the fashion world. My love story with clothing started way back when I was a kid, surrounded by vintage goodies from my family's collection. From dress-up sessions with friends to raiding vintage closets, I've always been drawn to the stories woven into every stitch. Besides the storytelling, that love for vintage developed a fascination with craftsmanship – think funky cuts, quality textiles, unique handwork, and prints that pop like confetti at a party. After completing my Fashion Design and Pattern Making degree at ESMOD, and getting a master in Fashion Marketing, I started teaching while taking on other roles in the industry. From Assistant Fashion Designer to Pattern Maker at a Tailoring Atelier. Through my experiences something became more and more obvious; I wanted my passion to shine through and help fashion entrepreneurs and brands express their vision with an innovative twist to avoid the "copy-cat" and Fast Fashion culture. When I joined the previous agency as Head Designer and Product Developer, I sharpened my mission. And guess what? I'm now diving into the deep end with ModaMinds, where we're all about helping people navigate the wild world of manufacturing while bringing brands to life with meaningful stories.
